The challenges and opportunities that Vietnam, especially Ho Chi Minh City, is facing in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). According to expert Kailash Raghuwanshi, Vietnam has great potential thanks to its increasingly improving business environment and technological development capabilities. However, there are still many bottlenecks that need to be overcome, including logistics issues, support policies for startups and investment capital.
The expert emphasized that Ho Chi Minh City can become a regional innovation hub if these challenges are addressed. Improving transport and logistics infrastructure will help increase the city’s competitiveness in attracting FDI. At the same time, there should be policies to encourage investment in technology and innovation, in order to create a supportive ecosystem for startups.
